Abstract

Algorithm, Big Data, and Computing are the ABCs of AI Era.  Technology scaling and the architectural innovations are the key dirvers for the performance improvement for AI chips. In this talk, the speaker will present his group's recent progress in technology-driven architectual innovations for AI applications, including architectures with 3D ICs, near-data computing and in-memory computing, as well as neuromorpic computing.
